Radio Yura, "La Voz de los Ayllus ", transmite com 1 kW, desde o altiplano Boliviano, uma região que foi muito castigada pelos colonizadores espanhóis em 1492. A cultura indígena desta região praticamente desapareceu, mas, milagrosamente, permanece intacta na região de Yura. No idioma da região ela é conhecida como Ayllu, e a emissora é direcionada exclusivamente aos indígenas da região que também falam o segundo idioma da Bolívia, o Quéchua, e por isso a rádio também faz emissões neste idioma.

Back after a long absence - M ancr with phone chats (requests?), one vocal mx selection at 1255; snuck into Jak relay at 1301 with no SCI; back to local programming at 1315 with a variety of mx, including a weird techno version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight;" IS on a dulcimer-like instrument at 1330, five pips to 1330:33, then sounded like regional news. VG signal, the best low-band Indo signal; in well the next day, as well. Esta parece ser mais uma daquelas emissoras peruanas que vivem mudando de freqüência pois encontrei escutas mais antigas em outras freqüências, tais como a do Rogildo Fontenelle Aragão (Bolívia) que a captou em 6.042,5 kHz e outra escuta do Arnaldo Slaen(Argentina) na freqüência de 6.996,77 kHz....
